1) Kyle and I met at a basketball game 6 1/2 years ago. We dated for
two and a half years before getting hitched and have been married now
two and a half years before getting hitched and have been married now
for over 4 years.
2) We have a son named Gunnar Leland Stark. He is kind of a big deal. He joined our little family on September 29th, 2010 at 12:03am. He was born 6 and a 1/2 weeks early and weighed in at 4lbs 12oz. Although Gunnar had a bit of a scary start, he has thrived and is pretty much all "caught up" to where he should be today. Needless to say, we pretty much think he is the greatest thing EVER. He changes every day and we can't believe how much he has grown up already and he's not even 7 months old yet.
3) I am a teacher by profession and Kyle has one more year left until he graduates with a combined BEd/BPE degree. Yes, we will be poor teachers together, but dang it if we won't enjoy our summer vacations and spring breaks together...
Last summer, pregnant and all, we
went backpacking into Belly River in Glacier National Park. Kyle learned a little about fly fishing from Lee, and I learned that our unborn baby hated sleeping on rocks; lesson learned...
4) We LOVE to travel. If we won the lottery, we do have a bucket list of places that we would definitely like to hit up. In the mean time, here are some of our favorite places/trips we have been on together since getting married in 2007:
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
February 2007
February 2007
Oregon Summer 2007
Texas May 2010
Yes I get to be the first to comment on the new blog. Love the title and love that you have a blog! I look forward to more posts about the little man and life in general. Keep em coming!

ReplyDeleteWohoo!! Glad you have decided to join the blogging world. Your little guy is growing up so much!!
ReplyDeleteClassy.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the blogging world, Noob!
ReplyDeleteI too am so excited that you've finally jumped on the bandwagon! Now you just can't be like half the people out there who do two or three posts and then quit! Just keep in mind that it's a great way to document your family life and a few of your own ponderings - and you can even print it into a nice little book and voila(!)...who needs a photoalbum?
ReplyDeleteI knew it would happen, but only because you tried so sincerely to stay away from it. I'm stoked that now we can blog stalk each other. I MISS YOU. Gunnar is so, SO stinkin' cute. I can't even believe it.
